Here’s a quick breakfast for the time poor. Simply place all the ingredients in a blender and blitz. I drink this regularly when I know I have a hectic day ahead of me, so that’s most days then. And on a work out day I’ll add whey protein and glucosamine to the mix. I’ll also add 1 tsp of Tumeric for it’s powerful anti-inflammatory properties. I find this smoothie helps you feel fuller for longer too, stopping you from going for that unhealthy elevenses snack.
Ingredients:
300 mls milk
1 free range egg
1 banana
1 tbsp rolled oats
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp ground tumeric
The Make:
Pour milk into a blender. Crack in 1 whole egg. Now add all the other ingredients and blitz until smooth. Enjoy.
